Information we collect

Costa Rica Picks doesn't require an account and doesn't collect personal information to show tour comparisons, prices, or verdicts. Standard analytics (page views and general location derived from IP address) are collected to understand which comparisons are actually useful, so we know what to improve or add next.

Affiliate links and booking platforms

When you click through to GetYourGuide, Viator, or another booking partner from this site, that partner may set its own cookies to track the referral and, if you book, attribute a commission to us. We don't see your payment details or booking information, that stays between you and the platform you book with. See our affiliate disclosure for how this works.

We also use Travelpayouts' Drive tool, which runs a script on this site to help surface relevant affiliate offers and add tracking attributes to outbound tour links. It doesn't collect personal information beyond standard click/referral data handled the same way as our other affiliate links.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and may work with advertising partners in the future. Analytics tools may record anonymized session behavior, like scroll depth or click patterns, to help us understand which parts of a comparison page actually help readers decide.
